Mild tremors in Latur’s Borwati

Latur, 26 Sep (HS: Tremors of 2.2 intensity were
felt in Borwati of Maharashtra’s Latur district on Friday morning.
The residents of Borwati Tehsil experienced a loud
sound before the tremors around 6.30 am. The National Seismology Centre, New
Delhi, recorded an earthquake of 2.2 magnitude on the Richter scale.
The local administration has appealed to the people
not to panic, but to remain alert.
